Overview

Commercial Specialized Waste Done Properly in Fresno, CA

Businesses accumulate regulated waste in quantities that make the residential approach unworkable. Fifty monitors from an IT refresh. Four years of tires behind a service bay. A restaurant's worth of failed refrigeration. Pallet loads of scrap from a fabrication shop. Each stream has its own destination, its own per-item cost and, increasingly, its own documentation requirement.

This is the commercial version of that problem. We collect in bulk, route each stream to a facility licensed to receive it, and hand back the receipts. For an office manager or a facilities lead that turns a research project into a single phone call — you do not have to work out which recycler takes CRT glass, which one documents drive destruction, or which tire processor is accepting bulk lots this month.

Volume also changes the economics. Fifty monitors collected together cost meaningfully less per unit than fifty collected one at a time, and the same is true of tires, appliances and scrap. Where a business generates a stream continuously rather than occasionally, a standing schedule is usually cheaper again.

Bulk streams we handle for Fresno businesses

Each stream is separated on collection rather than sorted later, which is what keeps the per-unit cost down and the documentation clean.

When to call

When a Business Stream Needs Dealing With

An IT refresh has left a storeroom full of monitors nobody is allowed to skip.

Tires have been accumulating behind the shop and the pile is now a compliance question.

A walk-in cooler failed and the replacement is scheduled before the old one has moved.

Scrap has filled the yard to the point where it is affecting the working area.

A facilities audit is due and there is no documentation for anything disposed of this year.

You are paying general waste rates on material that a recycler would take separately for less.

Step by step

How Commercial Specialist Streams Are Handled

  1. Inventory the streams

Rough counts are enough — forty monitors, a dozen tires, two coolers. Each stream has a different destination and cost, so the split matters more than a precise total.

  2. Quote per stream, receipts confirmed

You get a per-stream price including facility fees, and we confirm at quote stage what documentation comes back so there are no surprises at audit time.

  3. Collected and kept separate

Streams are loaded separately rather than mixed and sorted afterwards. Data-bearing hardware can be routed to a recycler that documents drive destruction.

  4. Documentation returned

Weigh tickets, e-waste manifests and processor receipts are passed back with the invoice, in a form that can go straight into a compliance file.

Pricing

Commercial Specialist Disposal Rates

Per-item pricing drops significantly with volume, because that is how the receiving facilities charge too. A standing schedule for a continuous stream is cheaper again.

The quote covers everything

Labor, the truck, the drive and the dump fee are all inside the number you are given. There is no separate disposal charge added at the end.

Priced by volume, not by the hour

What you pay depends on how much space the load takes in the trailer. A quick job and a slow one cost the same if the pile is the same size.

The price is fixed before we load

You hear the number while everything is still on the ground. It only changes if you decide to add to the pile.

Typical price range

Bulk e-waste, 20+ units

Well below the single-item rate. Includes transport to a certified recycler.

$25 – $55 per unit
Commercial refrigeration

Includes certified refrigerant recovery before the unit is scrapped.

$150 – $400 each
Bulk tires, 20+

Fleet and shop accumulations. Priced as a load above about 100.

$8 – $18 each
Scrap metal collection

Volume and metal type both matter. Clean separated scrap can offset the cost.

Quoted per load

Prices may vary depending on the condition of the item.

Ranges are typical for the Fresno area and are here to set expectations, not to serve as a quote. Access, stairs, weight and how far the load has to be carried all move the number. Call and you will get a real one.

Why us

Documentation Is the Point, Not an Extra

For a business, where the material went is often more important than what it cost to move. An office that cannot show its old hardware went to a certified recycler has a gap in its compliance file. A shop with no record of where its tires went has a problem if anyone asks. The receipt is the deliverable as much as the empty storeroom is.

So we treat it that way. Streams are kept separate, facilities are licensed, and the paperwork comes back with the invoice rather than on request three months later. It is also worth saying plainly: illegal dumping is a genuine problem across Fresno County, and a quote noticeably below everyone else's usually means the saving is coming from where the load ends up.

You deal with the owner

Same person on the phone, on the quote and on the truck. Nothing gets lost between a dispatcher and a crew.

Flat price before we load

Quoted on volume, with labor and dump fees inside the number. No hourly clock running while we work.

Same-day when we have the slot

Call in the morning and there is a real chance it is gone by afternoon. Reviews mention under-30-minute arrivals.

Donated and recycled first

Usable furniture goes to a donation center, metal goes to a recycler, and only what is genuinely waste ends up at a transfer station.

FAQ

Commercial Specialized Waste in Fresno — Common Questions

Can you guarantee data destruction on old computers?

We route data-bearing hardware to recyclers that document drive destruction, and the certificate comes back to you. Flag it when you book so the machines are handled on that path from collection. If your policy requires witnessed or on-site destruction specifically, that is a specialist service and we will point you at one rather than imply we provide it.

Does the price drop for larger volumes?

Substantially. Bulk e-waste at twenty or more units runs $25 to $55 each against $40 to $85 for single items, and tires drop from around $12 to $25 each down to $8 to $18 in bulk. The receiving facilities price the same way, so the saving is real rather than a discount we are absorbing. Prices may vary depending on the condition of the item.

Can you collect on a standing schedule?

Yes, and for a continuously generated stream that is usually the cheapest arrangement. A service shop producing tires weekly or a fabricator producing scrap daily gets a fixed collection day at an agreed rate. It also prevents the accumulation that turns a routine collection into a yard-clearing project.

Can you take commercial refrigeration and HVAC units?

Yes. Walk-in coolers, prep fridges, ice machines and rooftop HVAC all get their refrigerant recovered by a certified technician before the unit is scrapped, and that recovery is inside the quoted price. Rooftop units and anything needing a lift are quoted after a look at the access.

Do we get paid for scrap metal?

Sometimes it offsets the cost, occasionally it more than covers it, and often it does not — it depends on volume, on how cleanly separated the metal is, and on where scrap prices are that month. We will tell you which of those your load looks like at quote stage rather than being vague about it.

Will the documentation satisfy an audit?

It is issued in the form auditors normally look for: weigh tickets, e-waste manifests and processor receipts, tied to a dated invoice. If your specific program requires a particular format, tell us at the start — matching it from the first collection is easy, whereas reconstructing a year of records afterwards is not.
